Since the first Premium Bonds millionaire was made in April 1994, Agent Million has now made 400 trips to Premium Bonds holders who have scooped the jackpot prize of £1 million.

NS&I’s original target for 2018-19 was £6 billion (in a range of £3 billion either side of this, from £3 billion to £9 billion).

Customers will continue to benefit from inflation beating returns, tax-free interest and the 100% security that comes with NS&I products. From 1 May 2019, existing holders of Index-linked Savings Certificates who renew into a new term will receive index-linking based on the Consumer Prices Index (CPI) measure of inflation, rather than the Retail Prices Index (RPI).

While losing money is common, with those prone to misplacing things often finding spare change in pockets (66%), bags (37%) and drawers/cupboards (34%), new research from NS&I reveals that 14% of Britons (7 million people) think they may have lost track of a financial product.
