NS&I today announced that its Chief Executive, Jane Platt CBE, will stand down this summer after 10 years’ running the organisation. She was appointed in September 2006, following a successful private sector career in financial services.

Customers will be able to invest a further £10,000 in Premium Bonds from Monday 1 June 2015 after the maximum holding limit was increased from £40,000 to £50,000.

The Financial Secretary to HM Treasury has appointed Cheryl Millington as an independent Non-executive Director on the board of NS&I with effect from 1 July 2014. 

NS&I today published its provisional Q3 (October-December 2013) results for the financial year 2013-14. Net Financing for the quarter was £0.4 billion, bringing the year-to-date total to £2.9 billion.
