Short summary

You must be able to deal with all general areas of HR for the whole employee lifecycle backed up by credible experience of managing change in an outsourced commercial contract environment as you will be HR managing three of NS&I’s Directorates.

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Manager to join the HR and L&D Team to deliver an effective, proactive and flexible HR service to three Directorates. This is an opportunity to make a real impact, using your professional skills in a growing organisation.

Day-to-day, you will take the lead in providing generalist support to your directorates across the whole employee life cycle including recruitment and selection, employee relations, payroll, pensions, attendance and performance management.

You will have achieved or be working towards the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development qualification or have the equivalent experience, with a good knowledge of UK employment law and best practice and proven experience of working in an HR Business Partnering or generalist HR role.

You will be business and customer focused and able to demonstrate excellent relationship management skills and have the ability to coach and influence at senior levels. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with a proactive solution focused approach are key to the success of this role.

This role is subject to Baseline Personnel Security Standard and financial credit checks.
