We are looking for an Assistant Finance Business Partner to support the delivery of a high quality, effective and value-adding financial management service for NS&I. This role is central to the relationship between an individual business area and the finance function.
Working in partnership with stakeholders, you‘ll ensure budgets are being managed and controlled on a day to day basis and financial resources are being used in line with the principles of regularity, propriety and value for money. You’ll also assist with the annual budget setting process and prepare up to date, accurate and useful Directorate financial management information and analysis, to enable robust and informed decision-making by budget holders.
What are we looking for?
You’ll have previous experience of working in financial management, including experience of budget monitoring and forecasting as well as analysing and interpreting financial information.
You’ll need to need be fully AAT qualified or part qualified and actively studying towards a CIMA or CCAB.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain financial information to senior management and non-finance colleagues, are key to the success of this role.
This role is subject to BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) and financial credit checks.
